IT'S GREAT TO MEET YOU!
I’m Riley Johansen — a motion and graphic designer, photographer, and videographer.

I graduated from The Ohio State University with a BA in Moving-Image Production and a minor in Film Studies, and I’ve spent my career bringing ideas to life through visuals that tell stories, capture moments, and leave an impression.

Whether it’s animation, video, design, or photography, I love creating content that engages, inspires, and connects with people across all industries and walks of life. Every project is an opportunity to explore new perspectives, experiment with creativity, and craft visuals that truly resonate.

WHAT AM I UP TO NOW?
Since February, I’ve been working as a Motion Graphics Intern and Promotions Team member with the Match Production Department at FC Cincinnati, where I create engaging visuals and animations for an incredibly unique and growing MLS fanbase while also getting a chance to directly interact and engage with fans.

Outside of my internship, I continue to freelance, applying my skills in motion design, videography, photography, and graphic design to projects across a variety of industries. Balancing both roles allows me to keep exploring new techniques, expanding my creative toolkit, and bringing fresh ideas to every project I take on. I am really looking forward to showing my portfolio after this season!
